April 2013: Webdesign & editorial for artiva Sports
artiva Sports offers high quality customized sportswear including jerseys, pants, merchandising equipment and more. The services of the young Berlin company include individual design and marketing strategies for sports such as running, cycling, football, handball, basketball and volleyball. TPPD carried out the conception, design and editorial for their recently launched website.

February 2013: Preview "Wooden World"
The Beluga Spielwaren GmbH presents the prototypes of a new product range by TPPD at this years International Toy Fair Nuremberg from February 01st until February 06th. The toy range is called "Wooden World" and will be available in stores around summer 2013.

February 2013: Playing figures for "Flieg mit, kleine Eule!"
TPPD developed the CAD shape of these sweet little playing figures (height approx. 3,5 cm) for the latest collaborative kids board game of Schmidt Spiele. Futher informationen about the game here.

October 2012: Invitation card for classical master's concert
The above image shows TPPD's design of an invitation card for the upcoming concert of violinist Volkhardt Steude (concert master of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra) and pianist Almut Preuß-Niemeyer.
October 2012: TPPD at the award show of the Design Award 2012 of the Federal Republic of Germany
On Thursday 25th, the winners of the highest official German design award were announced in. Fashion designer Wolfgang Joop was honoured with the lifetime achievement award. Congratulations to all awardees!
September 2012: Logo-Redesign and new business papers for BeDRUCKt
The regional printers' shop BeDRUCKt presents itself with a new company logo and business papers designed by TPPD.
August 2012: Knot*Knot at miacosa
Nowadays there's plenty of online design shopping communities everywhere. However, the concept of the latest representative miacosa stands out and convinces: celebrities present their favourite products to the community. The members thereby get some relaxed and selective shopping inspiration. Best of all: Knot*Knot is well on board :)
August 2012: Attention coffee lovers!
A pop-up store by Coffee Circle - equipped with lightings from Knot*Knot - opens its doors from August 3rd until September 23rd at the former "Club der polnischen Versager" in Ackerstrasse 168 in Berlin Mitte. Visitors can enjoy freshly roasted coffee, high quality espresso, seminars, concerts and much more.
July 2012: AVISOmed website launched
TPPD designed the new website for the Berlin communications agency AVISOmed Verlagsgesellschaft mbH.

June 2012: Knot*Knot at the DMY Berlin 2012 Satellites
This year's DMY International Design Festival Berlin will be held from June 06-10. In addition to the main exhibition at Airport Tempelhof, the Satellites programme offers a large selection of smaller exhibitions all over the city. Knot*Knot will present its products in liaison with fashion label æmpersand/. The showroom is located at Plesser Straße 2 in Alt-Treptow. Opening times: June 6-10 from 12:00 to 20:00.
Mai 2012: Knot*Knot at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
Thade Precht presents Knot*Knot's business concept at the GIZ Berlin to a delegation from Jordan and the Palestinian areas. In regard to the German creative industries, he thereby gives insight into the venture's structural realization.
May 2012: Corporate Design for AVISOmed
AVISOmed Verlagsgesellschaft mbH is a Berlin communications agency specialized on health topics. For their new corporate design,
TPPD carried out the art direction and design of the company logo, website, letterheads, business cards, forms and brochures.
April 2012: Prosperous start for Knot*Knot's new online shop
We are happy about the large response regarding Knot*Knot's new online shop for fancily knotted cable products. Prospective buyers can choose from an extensive range of custom-made itmes by picking their desired cable type, cable length, knotting style and rope colour.

After giving a new look to the website of "42+ Große Mode", TPPD now also took over the redesign of "Collection Karin Glasmacher Oldenburg" and will carry out its future web administration.

Thade Precht participates in a panel discussion by Berliner Wirtschaftsgespräche about the city's locational advantages for company foundations and talks about his personal experiences within the start-up scene.

Coffee Circle runs an online shop for high quality coffee and coffee products with an all-embracing fair trade concept. For the upcoming sales in selected supermarkets, TPPD designed and manufactured their wooden sales displays. The requirements included general robustness and cheap manufacturing with a plain and natural, yet high-value appeal...

Boring cables everywhere you look? Time for a change! TPPD's Berlin label knot*knot now offers a wide range of cable products hand-knotted with high quality ropes. February 2012: Fair stand conception for AVISO kommunikation at the German Cancer Congress 2012
TPPD does the fair stand conception for the medicine specialist media agency AVISO kommunikation at the 30th annual
German Cancer Congress from February 22-25 at ICC Berlin.

TPPD visualizes the new fair stand and window dressings for Berlin fashion designer Michael Michalsky.
December 2011: "Avalanche" - newly added to portfolio
Avalanche is a versatile presentation furniture inspired by the typical alpine avalanche barriers. Developed in cooperation with Nora Schmidt Design. More images and information here.

November 2011: Modbird receives "Culture- & Creativity-Pilots Germany 2011" award
For the second time after 2010, the Kompetenzzentrum Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft des Bundes and the u-institut für unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln e.V. awarded the illustrious title "Culture- & Creativity-Pilots Germany" to 32 out of 606 creative business ideas and their doers. Amongst others, the programme is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
October 2011: Modbird wins Business Plan Special Awards by Wirtschaftsjunioren Berlin
The Wirtschaftjunioren Berlin are part of the Wirtschaftjunioren Deutschland and member of the Junior Chamber International (JCI). The ceremony took place at the convention center palisa.de. Our team was awarded the 1st Price.
September 2011: "Avalanche"-premiere at Waldraud
The adaptable clothing- & display-stand "Avalanche" by TPPD und Nora Schmidt held its premiere on September 24th in Zurich/Switzerland at the grand opening of Waldraud. Further images and information soon to follow.
June 2011: Modbird finishes 2nd @ business plan competition Berlin-Brandenburg 2011
All good things come in threes... After being awarded 1st and 4th price in the previous stages of this year's BPW, we happily took the chance to get up on stage one more time at the final award ceremony at Investitionsbank Berlin.

From now on, Thade Precht Product Design will be reached via the acronym TPPD. The old domain will be kept as a referrer.

May 2011: Participation in design workshop for „Die Imaginäre Manufaktur“
Under the direction of André Reutter from studio Soup, a group of eight designers came together for one weekend at the ExRotaprint gGmbH compound in order to come up with new product ideas for „Die Imaginäre Manufaktur (DIM)“. DIM products are manufactured and distributed by the Berlin Union Sozialer Einrichtungen (USE).

April 2011: Second award for Modbird @ business plan competition Berlin-Brandenburg 2011
The ceremony of stage 2 of the BPW 2011 took place at Kosmos in Berlin-Friedrichshain. We're glad to be among the Top Five again - a boost for the third and final stage.

At the ceremony on February 17th in Hans Otto Theater Potsdam, our team was awarded 1. price in the category BPWservice.
Earlier this month, the jolly rocking mouse and rocking ghost were presented at the International Toy Fair Nürnberg. TPPD was responsible for their product development. More images here.

June 2010: Modbird wins 8. Ideenwettbewerb Jena-Weimar 2010
The Ideenwettbewerb Jena-Weimar is an annual competition calling for students, scientists and founders to present their ideas and concepts regarding innovative products and services. This year's 1. price was awarded to Modbird for their modular system of electric guitars.

Our new office is situated in Berlin-Treptow in the former AGFA works, a beautiful old industrial building from the 18th century.
May 2010: Doll's House "PRITTI" available via Edgi-TECH
The magical Doll's House will henceforth be manufactured and distributed by the South African company edgi-TECH. Implementing their innovative Edgi connectors to join the wooden panels, the product's assembly now is even more intuitive and sturdy.
